Meltech reports expansion of agent network

U.K.-based Metech, a supplier to the global cable industry, reports that it has expanded the company's international scale and scope with agreements in recent months that have resulted in new agent agreements in countries such as Brazil and France.

"We are seeing rising interest in Meltech products around the world, so it is vital that we have a strong and credible presence to provide exemplary levels of support to our customers in all of our main markets," Meltech Business Development Director Roy Hammond said in a press release. "Our agency agreements are important for us: they cement our representative into the Meltech family. We are building up our agent network to give us wider and deeper coverage around the world. We recognize just how important it is for our customers to get an immediate, on-the-ground response, in their native language, from people with a real understanding of our technology but also of practical issues in their particular market. As a manufacturer of high-quality machinery, the quality of our agency network has to be of the same high standard as our equipment. So we are building it steadily and consistently."

The release said that Meltech, whose technology includes processing equipment and heating technology, is now represented in the following countries: Benelux, Brazil, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Germany, Japan, North Africa, Poland, Romania, Russia, Scandinavia, South Korea and U.S.
