Springs steel wire standards was created by Mr Assaf Medini
There are 2 different alloys for stainless steel spring wires, both are equivelent for AISI 302.
Please advise why there are 2 numbers (1.4310 and 1.4319) for the same material

Hello Assaf,

Usually the grade 1.4310 (AISI 301 type) is favored for strips whereas the 1.4319 (302 type) is used for wires.
