Help with wet lubricant was created by Archived Forum Admin
We have a serious problem in our factory.
We have a line of wet drawing of galvanized steel wire, with a tank of central lubrication.
Yesterday, the tank was broken and loss all the lubricant , just at the moment at which our supplier does not have stock of lubricant by 15 days.
Somebody suggests some formulates of “home made” lubricant to work by the next days?

Any suggestion well be appreciated.
Thanks a lot in advance.

Please go to the WAI store and look for product code TR-TS006.- Wet Wire Drawing for the Wire and Cable Industry www.wirenet.org/waistore/productdetail.cfm?productid=95

You can also order the individual paper " Wet drawing lubricants consistency and durability improvement" by Eun San Lee, Ye Keun Yuh, Byoung Kwon Park, and Min An Kim here: www.wirenet.org/technical/abstract/Abs_Detail.cfm?ID=4569

Dear Mendoza,

Why do not try greasy soap that women use in their houses to clean carpets? 30kg per 1000 liters of water

Please try it. Perhaps it will work for you.
