The newย Accel International Florida manufacturing facilityย will produceย high-performance cables, wires, and conductors. It will serve key sectors such asย aerospace, medical, industrial, and telecommunications.
In addition, the plant will supplyย silver-, nickel-, and tin-plated copperย andย copper alloy products. As a result, customers will gain access to reliable, high-quality materials.
Job Creation and Economic Impact
The project will createย 125 new jobs by 2021. Therefore, it will support local economic growth and strengthen Floridaโs manufacturing sector.
Florida Governorย Ron DeSantisย welcomed the announcement and emphasized its importance to the stateโs continued industrial expansion.
Facility Location and Future Development
Accel will build the plant on aย 10-acre siteย in theย Tradition Center for Commerceย in Port St. Lucie. The company plans toย break ground later this year.
Moreover, Accel has securedย 40 acres totalย for future expansion and committedย $55 million in capital investment, signaling long-term growth in the region.

Founded in 2006,ย Accel Internationalย operates three facilities inย Connecticut and Indiana, totalingย 450,000 square feetย of vertically integrated manufacturing space.
While the company mainly serves the U.S. market, it also maintains operations inย Canada, Mexico, and China.
Looking ahead, Accel plans to expand the Florida facility toย 300,000 square feet by 2023, further increasing production capacity.
