The new Accel International Florida manufacturing facility will produce high-performance cables, wires, and conductors. It will serve key sectors such as aerospace, medical, industrial, and telecommunications.

In addition, the plant will supply silver-, nickel-, and tin-plated copper and copper alloy products. As a result, customers will gain access to reliable, high-quality materials.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis welcomed the announcement and emphasized its importance to the state’s continued industrial expansion.

Facility Location and Future Development

Accel will build the plant on a 10-acre site in the Tradition Center for Commerce in Port St. Lucie. The company plans to break ground later this year.

Moreover, Accel has secured 40 acres total for future expansion and committed $55 million in capital investment, signaling long-term growth in the region.

Continued Growth and Expansion Plans

Founded in 2006, Accel International operates three facilities in Connecticut and Indiana, totaling 450,000 square feet of vertically integrated manufacturing space.

While the company mainly serves the U.S. market, it also maintains operations in Canada, Mexico, and China.

Looking ahead, Accel plans to expand the Florida facility to 300,000 square feet by 2023, further increasing production capacity.
