BizLink Holding to buy Singapore wire harness company

BizLink Holdingย plans to acquire Singapore-basedย Speedy Industrial Supplies Pte., Ltd.ย in a deal worth aboutย US$47 million. Theย BizLink Speedy Industrial acquisitionย will expand BizLinkโ€™s production footprint and sales reach acrossย Southeast Asia.

BizLinkโ€™s board of directors has approved the acquisition, and both parties expected to close the transaction by the end of February. Through this deal, BizLink will strengthen its position inย industrial and medical electronicsย while deepening relationships with global customers.

Speedy Industrial suppliesย wire harnesses and cables, PCBs, and other electronic componentsย for industrial and medical applications. It operates assembly lines inย Singapore and Malaysiaย that primarily serve clients inย Europe and the U.S.

Expanding medical and industrial customer bases

According to BizLink, the acquisition will help the companyย grow its customer base in the medical sectorย and broaden itsย industrial product portfolio. In addition, the deal supports BizLinkโ€™s efforts to extend itsย global business reachย and enhance regional support for key customers.

By integrating Speedyโ€™s capabilities, BizLink will increase flexibility in manufacturing and improve itsย supply chain resilienceย across multiple regions.

BizLink, headquartered inย Silicon Valley in the U.S., operates manufacturing bases in theย U.S., Mexico, Slovakia, Serbia, Malaysia, and China. China currently accounts for a substantial share of its total production capacity.

In response to theย U.S.-China trade dispute, BizLink has already shifted part of its production toย Southeast Asia and Mexico. Theย BizLink Speedy Industrial acquisitionย further supports this diversification strategy and strengthens its presence in key ASEAN markets.

Company background and recent recognition

BizLink, founded inย 1996, listed its shares on theย Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE)ย inย 2011. The company has also earned notable recognition for its performance and corporate responsibility.

It appeared onย Newsweekโ€™s 2020 list of Americaโ€™s Most Responsible Companiesย and onย Deloitteโ€™s โ€œ2019 Asia Pacific Technology Fast 500โ€, underscoring its growth momentum and commitment to responsible business practices.
