Champlain Cable enters a distribution partnership with Cameron Connect

The Champlain Cable Cameron Connect Partnership strengthens both companies’ reach in North America’s rail transit market. Champlain Cable joined forces with Cameron Connect to distribute its EXRAD-Rail™ wire and cable products, designed for demanding rail environments that require durability and performance.

Richard Trahan, Vice President of Business Development at Champlain Cable, said the partnership gives OEMs and sub-suppliers faster access to approved wire and cable products for rail cars and locomotives. The collaboration ensures reliable delivery and supports shorter project timelines.

Founded in 2010, Cameron Connect supplies top wire, cable, and accessory brands for the renewable energysteel, and transit industries. Champlain Cable, a leader in irradiation cross-linked wire and cable, serves markets including automotive, military, and commercial vehicles from its plants in El Paso, Texas, and Colchester, Vermont.

The Champlain Cable Cameron Connect Partnership highlights Champlain Cable’s continued investment in the rail sector. Together, the companies aim to deliver high-performance cable technology that supports dependable electrical infrastructure across North America’s rail systems.
