CommScope Powers Allegiant Stadium Connectivity for Las Vegas Raiders
CommScopeย has deployed advanced infrastructure as part of theย CommScope Allegiant Stadium connectivity project. The installation supports theย 65,000-seat Allegiant Stadium, home of theย Las Vegas Raiders, and delivers high-performance network capabilities across the entire venue.
CommScope Allegiant Stadium Connectivity Project Overview
As part of theย CommScope Allegiant Stadium connectivity project, the company installedย 227 miles of fiber optic cableย and more thanย 1.5 million feet of copper cabling. This infrastructure powers overย 2,400 screens,ย 1,700 Wi-Fi access points, and the stadiumโsย Distributed Antenna System (DAS).
In addition, the network uses aย 100G fiber backboneย andย 10G Category 6A copper cabling. These systems support critical operations such asย security, fire safety, HVAC, lighting controls, ticketing, concessions, and parking systems.
Enhancing the Fan Experience with High-Speed Connectivity
The high-bandwidth network enables an immersive fan experience. For example, fans can accessย 4K video replaysย andย live multi-camera streamsย throughout the stadium.
Moreover, the system supports thousands of connected devices, includingย smartphones, tablets, AR devices, and VR headsets. As a result, the stadium remains ready for future technology upgrades.
Full-Stadium Coverage and Smart Applications
CommScope extended connectivity across allย 10 levels of Allegiant Stadium, from the event floor to theย ETFE roof. Fans can use the Raiders mobile app toย find parking, locate concessions, order food, and share live content.
Meanwhile,ย copper cablingย supports internal applications, whileย coaxial cablesย power the DAS system. This integrated approach allows CommScope to deliver aย complete network infrastructure solution, combiningย fiber, copper, and wireless technologies.
