Madem-Moorecraft Nailed Wooden Reel Production Line

The new production line uses the latest automated CNC technology along with Madem’s proprietary inkjet printing system. These upgrades help the company increase efficiency, improve product consistency, and enhance branding on nailed wooden reels for cable producers.

With this added capacity, Madem-Moorecraft can respond faster to customer demand and support larger, ongoing projects.

Increased Capacity and Market Reach

The investment is projected to increase annual sales capacity up to 35 million dollars in nailed wooden reels. With this expanded capability, Madem-Moorecraft can potentially serve more than 25 cable manufacturers throughout the North American market.

The company aims to strengthen relationships with existing customers while also winning new business from regional and multinational cable producers.

Support for North American Growth Strategy

Vice President of Sales Steve Redhage noted that the new machines will support continued sales growth and the planned expansion of assembly and distribution centers across North America. This production line helps align manufacturing capacity with the company’s broader logistics and service strategy in the region.

Global Expansion Plans and Future U.S. Investments

Global Sales Director Leandro Mazzoccato explained that the investment confirms Madem Reels Group’s intent to grow its U.S. market share. The company plans to open five additional distribution and assembly centers in the U.S. and is already studying locations for a second U.S. production plant.

Madem Reels Group operates manufacturing plants in Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, the U.S., Spain, and Bahrain, supplying nailed wooden reels to about 150 cable manufacturers in 45 countries. It projects 2020 revenues of around 130 million dollars from its global nailed wooden reel business.
