Emtelle USA ready to have impact as a โ€˜Build America, Buy Americaโ€™ business

Boosting U.S. Manufacturing and Broadband Growth

Emtelle USA, a division of Scotland-based Emtelle Group, is expanding its presence in the U.S. fiber optic market. The company continues to strengthen its compliance with Build America, Buy America (BABA) requirements through domestic production at its Fletcher, North Carolina facility.

Emtelle USA Build America Buy America Compliance Strengthens Leadership and Operations

Recently, Emtelle USA appointed a new president to lead its American division. This leadership change supports the companyโ€™s focus on growth, innovation, and strong federal infrastructure partnerships. With new direction, Emtelle is ready to scale operations and meet the rising demand for U.S.-made broadband solutions.

At its 300,000-square-foot facility in Fletcher, Emtelle manufactures pre-connectorized blown fiber cablesmicroduct tube bundles, and ducted network systems. These solutions fully comply with BABA standards and deliver high performance for network installers.

Advanced Testing Enhances Emtelle USA Domestic Fiber Compliance

In September 2024, Emtelle USA upgraded its engineering capabilities by adding a state-of-the-art test track to the Fletcher facility. The test area allows the company to simulate real-world installation conditions and evaluate product durability with precision.

As a result, Emtelle can test how microducts and cables perform under various environmental settings. This ensures every product meets the reliability and quality demands of large-scale broadband projects across the U.S.

Furthermore, the new testing environment shortens product validation time and improves future product development.

Emtelle USA Positioned for Growing Fiber Demand

The Fletcher facility places Emtelle in a strong position to serve upcoming multi-billion-dollar fiber rollout projects across the nation. Public and private investments are driving record growth in broadband infrastructure, and Emtelle aims to deliver the technology to meet that demand.

Moreover, this U.S. expansion complements Emtelleโ€™s broader international network. The company also operates modern facilities in the U.K., Denmark, Germany, and Dubai. These global operations ensure consistent manufacturing standards, quicker delivery, and integration with North American partners.

Together, these efforts help Emtelle support one of the most significant broadband buildouts in the world.
