International Fastener Manufacturing Exposition Launches in the U.S.
The International Fastener Manufacturing Exposition (IFME) will debut as the only U.S. event dedicated to fastener manufacturing and precision-formed parts. Organized by the International Fastener Machinery & Suppliers’ Association (IFMSA), the event highlights a growing IFME fastener manufacturing expo focus on industry innovation and production.
Event Details and Industry Focus
IFME will take place May 14–16, 2019, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Organizers will co-locate the event with Interwire, hosted by the Wire Association International (WAI) (https://www.wirenet.org). As a result, attendees can explore both fastener and wire manufacturing advancements in one location.
IFMSA brings more than 35 years of experience organizing machinery-focused exhibitions. According to Executive Director Ray Zirkle, the new event will give machinery manufacturers greater visibility and create a more targeted industry platform.
Growing Demand for Fastener Manufacturing
The U.S. manufacturing sector continues to expand. Therefore, demand for fasteners and precision-formed parts is expected to rise. IFME will provide a dedicated space for suppliers of machinery, materials, tooling, controls, and systems to showcase their solutions.
In addition, the event will connect exhibitors with an active audience of manufacturers and buyers, creating new business opportunities across the supply chain.
Industry Collaboration and Exhibitor Support
Organizers chose Atlanta due to the strong synergy between the fastener and wire industries. Previous co-located events have delivered strong results. For example, industry leaders like Reed Machinery support the combined format for its networking and business development potential.
