Hengtong Submarine Optical Cable Milestone in Chile Project
Hengtong reached this milestone after delivering nearly 3,000 km of submarine optical cable for Chile’s Fibre Optic Austral (FOA) project. This system runs along the Chilean coast. It connects Puerto Montt to Puerto Williams and includes branches to Tortel and Punta Arenas.
The company held a ceremony on November 26, 2018, in Changshu, Jiangsu Province to celebrate this achievement.
