International Wire Group Holdings, Inc. (IWG) has agreed to an acquisition by affiliates of Atlas Holdings LLC in a deal valued at $10.70 per share. The transaction marks a significant development in the copper wire manufacturing industry.

The International Wire Group acquisition by Atlas Holdings has received unanimous approval from IWG’s board of directors. The board has also recommended that shareholders approve the agreement.

Deal Timeline and Conditions

The acquisition remains subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals. If approved, the companies expect to complete the transaction in early Q2 2019.
