Kris-Tech Wire breaks ground on Rome, NY expansion
Kris-Tech Wire, a leading wire and cable supplier for building, commercial, and utility markets, has broken ground on a major expansion at its Rome, New York headquarters. The company plans to double its production, warehouse, and office space, strengthening its ability to serve customers nationwide.
Kris-Tech Wire expansion doubles capacity
The Kris-Tech Wire expansion is part of a multi-year growth campaign that expands operations and product lines into emerging markets. Company President and CEO Graham Brodock says the project reflects a strong commitment to investing in employees, customers, and the local community. He also notes that this expansion shows the team’s confidence in the business and signals more growth projects ahead.

New production lines and facility improvements
When construction finishes in early 2024, the expanded Otis Street building in Rome will add:
-
Several new production lines, including the expanded tray cable division
-
Additional stocking and storage areas
-
New training rooms and support spaces
The expansion will also bring a nearby production operation back to Rome, further centralizing Kris-Tech Wire’s manufacturing footprint. In addition, the company recently opened a stocking facility in Houston, Texas, improving lead times and service for customers in the southern U.S.
A growing, family-owned wire and cable business
Kris-Tech Wire operates as a third-generation, family-owned business. Twin brothers Gerry and Glenn Brodock founded the company in 1984, and the Brodock family continues to guide its long-term growth strategy today. As the business expands in Rome and Houston, Kris-Tech Wire strengthens its position as a flexible, customer-focused partner for wire and cable solutions.
