Leoni AG Opens New Automotive Wiring Plant in Kraljevo, Serbia
Leoni AG, a global leader in automotive wiring systems based in Germany, has officially opened its fourth manufacturing plant in Serbia. The new Leoni Serbia Kraljevo plant strengthens the company’s role as a high-performance supplier to the international automotive sector and expands its global production network.
Strengthening Leoni’s Presence in Serbia
Located in Kraljevo, the new plant represents a key milestone in Leoni’s continued investment in Serbia’s manufacturing economy. To date, the company has invested over €50 million in the facility, making it the largest Leoni plant in the country. Once fully operational, the site will employ up to 5,000 people by the end of 2023, making Leoni Serbia’s largest private industrial employer.

Expanding Production Capacity and Local Growth
The newly constructed facility covers more than 60,000 square meters, including 45,000 square meters of dedicated production space. As the first major industrial plant built in Kraljevo in nearly 30 years, it marks a significant boost to local economic development.
