New Agadir Plant Creates 3,000 Jobs
Leoni recently signed major investment agreements with representatives of the Moroccan government. As part of this collaboration, the company will build a new wiring systems plant in Agadir’s Industrial Acceleration Zone. The plant will focus on wiring systems for commercial vehicles.
This new facility will create around 3,000 jobs in engineering, production, and administrative roles. The Moroccan Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, presided over the signing ceremony, which marked an important milestone for Morocco’s industrial development.
Expanding Operations Across Morocco
In addition to the new Agadir plant, Leoni plans to expand its nine existing plants located in the Casablanca‑Settat region. Together, these projects will generate over 7,000 new jobs by 2027.
