Marmon Aerospace & Defense, aย Marmon/Berkshire Hathaway company, has broken ground on a newย 80,000-square-foot manufacturing facilityย inย Hooksett, New Hampshire. Theย Marmon Aerospace Hooksett plant investmentย will expand the companyโs U.S. cable production capacity and strengthen support for theย U.S. Navyย and its shipbuilding network.
The company plans to complete the facility in theย fall of 2023, bringingย 20 new production jobsย to the local area and boosting regional manufacturing growth.
Investing $30 Million in Advanced Manufacturing
Marmon Aerospace & Defense is investingย $30 millionย to build this state-of-the-art facility. Once operational, the plant will produceย large shipboard power cables, an essential component for next-generation naval ships.
This new operation will complement existing production at Marmonโs other facilities inย Manchester, New Hampshire, andย Naples, Florida. By expanding its U.S. footprint, the company aims to meet rising defense industry demand and enhance national supply reliability.
