Marmon Aerospace Hooksett Plant Investment Expands Cable Production

Marmon Aerospace & Defense, aย Marmon/Berkshire Hathaway company, has broken ground on a newย 80,000-square-foot manufacturing facilityย inย Hooksett, New Hampshire. Theย Marmon Aerospace Hooksett plant investmentย will expand the companyโ€™s U.S. cable production capacity and strengthen support for theย U.S. Navyย and its shipbuilding network.

The company plans to complete the facility in theย fall of 2023, bringingย 20 new production jobsย to the local area and boosting regional manufacturing growth.

Investing $30 Million in Advanced Manufacturing

Marmon Aerospace & Defense is investingย $30 millionย to build this state-of-the-art facility. Once operational, the plant will produceย large shipboard power cables, an essential component for next-generation naval ships.

This new operation will complement existing production at Marmonโ€™s other facilities inย Manchester, New Hampshire, andย Naples, Florida. By expanding its U.S. footprint, the company aims to meet rising defense industry demand and enhance national supply reliability.

Strengthening Naval Cable Capabilities

Theย Marmon Aerospace Hooksett plant investmentย will significantly expand the companyโ€™s line ofย military shipboard cables, including power, data, instrumentation, control, and communication cables.
