Marmon Aerospace Hooksett Plant Investment Expands Cable Production
Marmon Aerospace & Defense, a Marmon/Berkshire Hathaway company, has broken ground on a new 80,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Hooksett, New Hampshire. The Marmon Aerospace Hooksett plant investment will expand the company’s U.S. cable production capacity and strengthen support for the U.S. Navy and its shipbuilding network.
The company plans to complete the facility in the fall of 2023, bringing 20 new production jobs to the local area and boosting regional manufacturing growth.
Investing $30 Million in Advanced Manufacturing
Marmon Aerospace & Defense is investing $30 million to build this state-of-the-art facility. Once operational, the plant will produce large shipboard power cables, an essential component for next-generation naval ships.
This new operation will complement existing production at Marmon’s other facilities in Manchester, New Hampshire, and Naples, Florida. By expanding its U.S. footprint, the company aims to meet rising defense industry demand and enhance national supply reliability.
Strengthening Naval Cable Capabilities
The Marmon Aerospace Hooksett plant investment will significantly expand the company’s line of military shipboard cables, including power, data, instrumentation, control, and communication cables.
