Wire China 2022 Announces New Dates and Location

The organizers ofย wire China 2022ย have announced a change in venue and schedule for the upcoming trade fair. Originally set forย September 26โ€“29, 2022, at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, the event will now take place fromย November 8โ€“11, 2022, at theย Nanjing International Expo Center.

The decision comes in response to the ongoingย COVIDโ€‘19ย situation in China. Organizersย Messe Dรผsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.ย andย Shanghai Electric Cable Research Institute Co.ย consulted with industry experts to identify the best solution, ultimately choosing Nanjing as the ideal host city.

Why Nanjing Was Selected for wire China 2022

Situated about three hours from Shanghai,ย Nanjingโ€”the capital of Jiangsu Provinceโ€”offers modern infrastructure and strong industrial development. Its strategic location makes it an ideal venue for international trade fairs likeย wire Chinaย and its sister event,ย Tube China 2022, which will run concurrently.

Nanjingโ€™s industrial clusters and connectivity ensure that exhibitors and visitors from the global wire and cable sector can meet safely and productively.

Concurrent Industry Conferences to Strengthen the Event

Alongside the main exhibitions, three industry conferences will take place:

  • China Wire & Cable Industry Conference

  • China Wire & Cable Material Conference

  • China Winding Wire Conference

These events will offer additional insights and opportunities for collaboration across the cable manufacturing supply chain.

Organizers Commit to a Highโ€‘Quality Industry Platform

โ€œThe organizers ofย wire China 2022ย will spare no effort to present a successful, highโ€‘quality event in Nanjing,โ€ the statement said. โ€œWe sincerely appreciate the ongoing support and trust from our exhibitors and visitors.โ€

Visitor registration remains active until early November atย www.wirechina.net. Anyone who has already registered can use existing registration codes to claim badges onsite during the event. Meanwhile,ย Messe Dรผsseldorf (Shanghai)ย continues working closely with exhibitors to coordinate logistics and preparations.

Organizers also thanked industry members for their patience and partnership during the venue and date transition. They look forward to welcoming all participants to Nanjing in November for one of Asiaโ€™s leading wire and cable exhibitions.
