Nexans Signs Three-Year Deal with Eiffage for 4,000 EV Charging Points
Nexans has signed a three‑year partnership agreement with Eiffage to deliver and install electric vehicle (EV) charging stations across 1,000 sites in France. The project will include more than 4,000 charging points, helping both companies accelerate the nation’s transition toward sustainable mobility.
The partnership builds on an established 20‑year relationship between Nexans and Eiffage, underscoring deep trust and shared innovation. It also highlights Nexans’ leadership in designing scalable, energy‑efficient charging infrastructure.
Expanding EV Infrastructure with Nexans AGICITY Stations
As part of the agreement, Eiffage will deploy Nexans’ AGICITY charging stations, manufactured at the company’s Donchery site in the Ardennes region of France. These compact and customizable chargers are suitable for both indoor and outdoor parking facilities.
The AC and DC models, operating between 22 and 50 kVA, allow two vehicles to charge simultaneously. Depending on the vehicle and power level, a 45‑minute charge restores up to 80% of range, making these stations an efficient option for modern EV fleets.
Nexans’ AGICITY stations also integrate digital solutions that enable monitoring, user control, and performance management — key advantages for commercial, municipal, and industrial clients.
Building on a Proven Partnership
Nexans previously completed a project in 2021 to install 200 charging points at Eiffage’s headquarters in Vélizy‑Villacoublay. That success strengthened the foundation for the current large‑scale rollout.
“After two decades of collaboration, this agreement enhances our partnership with Eiffage,” said Jean‑Louis Tisnes, Nexans’ French Sales Director for Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (EVCI). “It reflects our commitment to supporting customers in the energy transition and highlights our industrial agility in a rapidly expanding sector.”
Advancing Clean Energy and Sustainable Mobility
The deal between Nexans and Eiffage demonstrates how partnerships can accelerate progress toward a decarbonized economy. By combining Eiffage’s infrastructure expertise with Nexans’ proven EV technology, the companies will support France’s collective goal of expanding electric vehicle charging infrastructure (EVCI) nationwide.
Together, they continue to lead the charge toward efficient, eco‑friendly mobility solutions for cities and businesses alike.
