Central Wire Requires Employee Vaccinations to Strengthen Workplace Safety

Central Wire Industriesย announced a new companywide vaccination policy requiring all employees to be vaccinated byย October 29, unless they qualify for an approved exemption. President and CEOย Paul Fromย explained how this step ensures health, safety, and business continuity across the companyโ€™s 13 international facilities. Theย Central Wire Employee Vaccination Policyย affects aboutย 700 employeesย in theย U.S., U.K., and Canada.

Employee Response and Health Priorities

From said the employee reaction has been overwhelmingly positive. Many workers reached out to thank leadership for creating a safer work environment. A few expressed concerns, but conversations remained constructive.

โ€œSome employees privately supported vaccination but were hesitant to say so,โ€ From shared. โ€œDisinformation made people confused, and we needed to address that. This policy puts health science first.โ€

Why Central Wire Introduced the Policy

From explained that his decision stemmed from a workplace safety perspective. โ€œI treat this as a health hazard like any other,โ€ he said. โ€œItโ€™s my duty to stop it and protect people. Thatโ€™s how we manage risk in manufacturing.โ€

He also mentioned thatย other manufacturersย have contacted Central Wire for advice. โ€œFifteen companies reached out last week, all considering the same step,โ€ he added. โ€œMany are concerned about legal and operational impacts, but they agree itโ€™s the right direction.โ€

From recognized potential legal challenges but emphasized that both vaccinated and unvaccinated employees could make claims. โ€œAt some point, vaccinated employees may demand safe workplaces. I want to be ahead of that. If the virus evolves, we must be ready,โ€ he said.

Central Wire Employee Vaccination Policy Emphasizes Compassion

From urged employees who oppose vaccines to consider their coworkers. โ€œWe have employees fighting cancer and others with vulnerable family members,โ€ he explained. โ€œThink about them. Freedom of choice comes with responsibility โ€” to protect those at risk.โ€

He added that the decision reflects broader compassion for healthcare workers. โ€œTheyโ€™re fighting to keep people alive every minute,โ€ he said. โ€œWe need to ease their burden, not add to it.โ€

Reflecting on the pandemic, From described the experience as the toughest test of his career. โ€œIโ€™ve never faced anything like this,โ€ he said. โ€œThe last 18 months have been exhausting, but I believe companies that overcome this will come out stronger โ€” for employees, shareholders, and society.โ€
