The acquisition strengthens Intertranscom Impexโs position in Eastern Europeโs steel manufacturing market as the company prepares to revive production operations.

According to a report fromย Romania-Insider.com,ย Dan Steel Group Beclean (Dan Steel)ย produced a wide range ofย ferrous metal products, includingย nails, galvanized wire, braided wire, welded mesh, and steel panels. The company exported to multiple regional markets such asย Hungary, Poland, Serbia, the Czech Republic, and Slovakiaย before declaring bankruptcy in early 2023.
Founded in 1991, Dan Steel grew rapidly in Romaniaโs steel sector but began struggling in 2017 due to liquidity issues. Furthermore, newย European Commission import measuresย imposed in 2018 increased raw material costs and added financial pressure that hindered its recovery.
Intertranscom Impex Plans to Restart Production
