SIKORA Begins Construction of New Production Facility in Bremen

SIKORA AG has started construction on a new production facility in Bremen-Mahndorf, marking a major step in its expansion strategy. This SIKORA Bremen production facility will support long-term growth and strengthen the company’s global competitiveness.

SIKORA Bremen Production Facility Expands Capacity

To begin with, SIKORA (https://www.sikora.net) launched the project with a foundation stone ceremony attended by employees and business partners. The new building will provide 7,000 square meters of production and logistics space, more than tripling current capacity.

As a result, the company will significantly improve its ability to meet rising demand across global markets.

Modern Design and Efficient Production Layout

The new facility will replace the previous production building on the same site. In the meantime, SIKORA has relocated operations to a nearby building to maintain close coordination with management, administration, and development teams.

Once completed, the site will integrate lean production concepts to streamline workflows. In addition, the four-floor design will include dedicated spaces for communication, creativity, and innovation, supporting a modern work environment.

Supporting Growth in Measurement and Testing Technologies

Furthermore, SIKORA continues to expand its portfolio in measuring, testing, and inspection equipment for industries such as wire and cable, optical fiber, plastics, hose, and tube.

As product demand increased, the company reached its previous capacity limits. Therefore, the new facility will provide up to 350% more space, allowing for future expansion.

Strengthening Workforce and Operational Efficiency

At the same time, SIKORA has increased hiring to support its growth. The new facility will help attract skilled professionals and improve overall productivity.

Through detailed planning, the company has optimized material flow, production processes, and logistics. As a result, SIKORA expects to enhance product quality, efficiency, and delivery reliability.

The facility is scheduled for completion by November, reinforcing SIKORA’s commitment to innovation and manufacturing excellence.
