WAI Virtual Industry 4.0 Conference and 91st Annual Convention

The Wire Association International (WAI) continues its education-focused mission and invites attendees to its Virtual Industry 4.0 Conference and 91st Annual Convention, taking place October 26–27, 2021. The online format makes it easy for wire and cable professionals worldwide to learn how Industry 4.0 transforms modern wire making.

Industry 4.0 Sessions and Speakers

Across two days, 32 speakers will share practical insights on how Industry 4.0 technologies improve wire production and plant performance. Presenters include experts from manufacturing companies already using these tools, along with suppliers that deliver Industry 4.0 solutions to the wire and cable sector.

Sessions run in 25‑minute segments throughout each day, with 15‑minute briefings scheduled around midday. The program begins at 9:30 a.m. ET and the full schedule is available at: https://waiindustry40.heysummit.com/schedule/.

Flexible Virtual Format and On-Demand Access

The virtual format lets registrants join from any location, interact with speakers during live Q&A, and replay recorded sessions for one month after they first air.

WAI President Tom Heberling notes that the online conference helps more people understand how Industry 4.0 applies directly to wire manufacturing and that convenient access has raised expectations for attendance.
