Whitmor/Wirenetics, a custom cable manufacturer based in Valencia, California, now operates as part of BJG Electronics Group, Inc. (BJG), a Long Island, New York–based electronics distributor and Rockwood portfolio company. This acquisition further strengthens BJG’s role in high‑reliability wire, cable, and interconnect solutions for harsh environments.

Whitmor/Wirenetics High‑Performance Cable Capabilities

For more than 50 yearsWhitmor/Wirenetics has supplied high‑performance wire, cable, and tubing to military, aerospace, defense, satellite, and space customers. Over time, the company has built a reputation for custom designs and value‑added assemblies that perform in demanding conditions. Because of this expertise, its portfolio fits naturally with BJG’s existing connector and electromechanical lines.

Connector Tech LLC and One‑Stop Mil‑Aero Offering

In addition to Whitmor/Wirenetics, Connector Tech LLC, a Montana‑based value‑added distributor of high‑reliability electronic interconnect products, also joined the BJG platform. Together, Whitmor/Wirenetics, Connector Tech, and BJG give customers a broader mix of interconnect and cabling solutions for mission‑critical applications.

According to BJG Electronics Group President Rick Flora, the combined BJG line card now delivers a true “one‑stop” solution for OEMs, harness houses, and box builders in military, aerospace, and other harsh‑environment markets.
