Wire & Cable Guangzhou is again rescheduled, now to be held in 2021

Wire & Cable Guangzhou Rescheduled to 2021 Amid Industry Disruption

Organizers ofย Wire & Cable Guangzhouย have postponed the event to 2021 after initially planning dates in June and November. The decision reflects ongoing disruptions across theย global wire and cable industryย caused by COVID-19.

Event Postponement and Industry Impact

The organizing committee made the decision after consulting with key stakeholders across theย Southern China wire and cable market. The pandemic continues to affectย industrial activity, making it difficult for exhibitors and attendees to participate effectively.

As a result, organizers will now host the event in 2021 at theย China Import and Export Fair Complex. They will announce the new dates at a later time.

Outlook for 2021 Growth

Emeka Hu, General Manager ofย Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co. Ltd., explained that the team expects a strong recovery in 2021. She emphasized that exhibitors will benefit from a moreย active and profitable business environmentย by delaying participation.

This approach allows companies to maximize theirย marketing impactย and engage in a stronger, more dynamic exhibition.

Event Growth and Industry Reach

Since its launch in 2009,ย Wire & Cable Guangzhouย has delivered consistent year-on-year growth. The 2019 event recorded aย 14% increase in visitors, highlighting rising demand across the industry.

The exhibition connectsย cable manufacturers, testing equipment providers, and smart grid solution companies. In 2019, the event hostedย 220 exhibitorsย and attractedย 26,410 attendeesย from 41 countries and regions.
