Wire & Tube 2020 New Dates Announced
Messe Düsseldorf has rescheduled the world’s largest wire and cable industry trade show because of the Coronavirus pandemic. The wire & Tube 2020 new dates now run from December 7–11, 2020, in Düsseldorf, Germany, giving exhibitors and visitors more time to adjust plans.
Strong Commitment to Industry Partners
Wolfram N. Diener, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, stressed the need for early and clear communication. This approach helps exhibitors and visitors plan with greater confidence. He also emphasized that customers and partners can rely on Messe Düsseldorf to act calmly and responsibly, even in difficult situations.
Wire & Tube 2020 New Dates and Exhibitor Plans
All existing exhibitor contracts with Messe Düsseldorf remain valid for the new dates. In addition, all previously purchased visitor tickets will still work for the December schedule.
During the rescheduled event, about 2,600 exhibitors in 15 halls plan to present the latest machinery, equipment, technologies, and services for wire and tube production, processing, finishing, and end products.
Support from Düsseldorf’s Hospitality Sector
The Düsseldorf hotel sector, represented by DEHOGA (the Trade Association for the Hospitality Industry), has urged its members to stay flexible with rebookings. This includes both exhibitors and visitors.
Industry leaders Giuseppe Saitta and Rolf D. Steinert noted that major trade fairs like wire and Tube play a vital role for the city, the hotel industry, and the catering trade. Therefore, they called for goodwill and cooperation to support the success of the rescheduled events.
