The development of an automatically operated horizontal cage machine for producing reinforcing cages for concrete pipe is described; hot rolled rebar is welded, and the special packaging necessary for similar machines is not required. The wrapping technique developed from a dead block coiling technique is described along with methods of welding. The automatic cage ejection unit is also described.
