Measuring techniques for determining the annealing characteristics of commercial coppers are reviewed. Tensile measurements; elongation measurement; indentation hardness testing; the plastic torsion angle method; and the relationships between temperature of anneal and tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, and electrical resistivity are discussed.
