American Wire Works (AWW) acquired Ace Metal, Inc., a family-owned maker of metal spools and tubular wire carriers in Clifton Heights, Pennsylvania. The deal expands AWWโs U.S. manufacturing capabilities and supports customers in demanding industrial sectors.
Ace Metal, founded in 1946, brings nearly 80 years of domestic manufacturing experience. Its expertise fits AWWโs focus on supplying wire solutions for aerospace, defense, energy, and infrastructure markets. The acquisition strengthens AWWโs production depth and improves responsiveness and service.
Enhancing Innovation in Wire and Packaging Solutions

Ace Metal Rebrands as Ace Metal Works Under AWW
Ace Metal will exhibit again atย Interwireย this year under its new name,ย Ace Metal Works. It will continue operating from the current Clifton Heights facility. AWW has retained Ace Metalโs skilled workforce, preserving important technical knowledge. Fusacchia plans to attend Interwire to meet customers and industry peers.
