Nexans to supply charging stations

Nexans Signs Three-Year Deal with Eiffage for 4,000 EV Charging Points

Nexansย has signed a threeโ€‘year partnership agreement withย Eiffageย to deliver and install electric vehicle (EV) charging stations acrossย 1,000 sites in France. The project will include more thanย 4,000 charging points, helping both companies accelerate the nationโ€™s transition toward sustainable mobility.

The partnership builds on an established 20โ€‘year relationship between Nexans and Eiffage, underscoring deep trust and shared innovation. It also highlights Nexansโ€™ leadership in designing scalable, energyโ€‘efficient charging infrastructure.

Expanding EV Infrastructure with Nexans AGICITY Stations

As part of the agreement, Eiffage will deploy Nexansโ€™ย AGICITY charging stations, manufactured at the companyโ€™sย Donchery siteย in the Ardennes region of France. These compact and customizable chargers are suitable for both indoor and outdoor parking facilities.

The AC and DC models, operating betweenย 22 and 50 kVA, allowย two vehiclesย to charge simultaneously. Depending on the vehicle and power level, aย 45โ€‘minute charge restores up to 80% of range, making these stations an efficient option for modern EV fleets.

Nexansโ€™ AGICITY stations also integrate digital solutions that enable monitoring, user control, and performance management โ€” key advantages for commercial, municipal, and industrial clients.

Building on a Proven Partnership

Nexans previously completed a project inย 2021ย to installย 200 charging pointsย atย Eiffageโ€™s headquartersย in Vรฉlizyโ€‘Villacoublay. That success strengthened the foundation for the current largeโ€‘scale rollout.

โ€œAfter two decades of collaboration, this agreement enhances our partnership with Eiffage,โ€ saidย Jeanโ€‘Louis Tisnes, Nexansโ€™ French Sales Director forย Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (EVCI). โ€œIt reflects our commitment to supporting customers in the energy transition and highlights our industrial agility in a rapidly expanding sector.โ€

Advancing Clean Energy and Sustainable Mobility

The deal between Nexans and Eiffage demonstrates how partnerships can accelerate progress toward a decarbonized economy. By combining Eiffageโ€™s infrastructure expertise with Nexansโ€™ proven EV technology, the companies will support Franceโ€™s collective goal of expandingย electric vehicle charging infrastructure (EVCI)ย nationwide.

Together, they continue to lead the charge toward efficient, ecoโ€‘friendly mobility solutions for cities and businesses alike.
