Sequel Wire completes expansion

Sequel Wire and Cable Argos Expansion Overview

Theย Sequel Wire and Cable Argos expansionย builds on the companyโ€™s launch inย Argos, Indianaย inย January 2020. Since opening, the insulated copper wire manufacturer has grown steadily, even through recent economic disruptions. As demand climbed, leadership saw a clear need for more capacity and faster response times.

Byย July 2021, after just six months of insulating products, Sequel already felt pressure on production. As a result, the company moved ahead with an expansion at its greenfield facility to better support customers and future orders.

Expansion Boosts Capacity and Shortens Lead Times

The company has now completedย Phase 1ย of its expansion at theย 162,000โ€‘sqโ€‘ft greenfield plant, and the new space is fully operational. With this project, Sequelย doubled its internal wire drawing capabilitiesย andย increased PVC wire output by about oneโ€‘third.

These investments also improved flexibility for customers. In addition, Sequel now relies far less on outside sources for uninsulated wire. That shift shortens lead times and gives the team tighter control over both quality and scheduling.

Sales Leadership Supports the Argos Expansion

To match its larger production footprint,ย Sequel Wire and Cableย hiredย Todd Eaganย as its new sales manager. His role focuses on strengthening customer relationships, expanding key accounts, and ensuring that clients fully benefit from the companyโ€™s added capacity and quicker deliveries.

Taken together, the Sequel Wire and Cable Argos expansion and new sales leadership position the company for continued growth in the insulated copper wire market. They also support more responsive service across its customer base.
