Leadership changes continue across the wire and cable industry, including executive promotions, strategic appointments and industry obituaries from leading global manufacturers and suppliers.

Wire and cable manufacturers and suppliers have announced multiple leadership appointments and promotions across R&D, operations, sales, and marketing. Recent moves at Belden, Quabbin, Amphenol, Prysmian/Encore Wire, and others underscore ongoing investment in executive talent and organizational growth across the industry.

Southwire and its supply-chain partners announced a wave of leadership changes, highlighted by Ganesh Ramaswamy succeeding Rich Stinson as president and CEO, new executive appointments across companies such as Rautomead, AFL, Tri Star Metals, Premix Group USA, Schlatter North America, REELEX, and Amphenol Network Solutions, and the passing of noted filtration expert James John Joseph Jr.

Rich Stinson will retire as Southwireโs president and CEO in December after a decade in the role and more than 40 years in the electrical industry, remaining as executive advisor to incoming president and CEO Ganesh Ramaswamy through early 2026. Kurt Breischaft has been appointed CEO of Advanced Digital Cable following its acquisition by Kinderhook Industries, while Peter Sheehan joins ADCโs board as an operating partner. Additional leadership moves include David Devoe becoming vice president of Lesjรถfors Group North America, Dirghayu Joshiโs promotion to general manager of sales and technical solutions at Kinrei of America, Wade Buickโs appointment as senior vice president of distribution and operations at Omni Cable, Alfredo J. Moleiroโs new role as international sales manager at American Industrial Machinery, and Jeff Smithโs appointment as regional sales manager โ utility at Priority Wire & Cable.

Molex appointed Jim Foster as director of operations in South Grafton, Massachusetts, bringing over 30 yearsโ experience in cable manufacturing. Annelise Mackiewicz was named inside sales and marketing manager at Able Coil & Electronics. LindFast Solutions Group promoted Steven Dean to chief commercial officer and Mike Spencer to CEO. Heinrich Weiss, famed steel industry leader, has died.
