New England Chapter speaker for Jan. 26 meeting to focus on learning objectives

The WAI New England Chapter annual meeting will bring industry professionals together once again at the Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut. As in past years, the event will focus on networking, education, and industry connection.

Event Schedule and Keynote Speaker

The event will take place in the Cabaret Theatre. It will begin with a reception at 5:30 PM, followed by the meeting at 6:35 PM.

This year, Michelle Dray, creator of the “Getting Unstuck & Leading Fearlessly” program, will serve as keynote speaker. She will share insights on career development and leadership growth. In particular, she will explain signs of career stagnation and offer strategies for both new professionals and experienced leaders.

Networking, Leadership, and Fundraising

In addition, the meeting will introduce the 2023 chapter officers. It will also include a raffle and multiple opportunities to network with industry peers.

At the same time, the event will support the New England Chapter Scholarship Fund, helping develop future talent. Attendees can register through <a href=”https://www.wirenet.org” target=”_blank”>Wire Association InternationalWire Association International</a>. Members in good standing will receive discounted ratesdiscounted rates.

Attendee Experience and Raffle Highlights

To enhance the experience, award-winning photographer Ashley Abel will provide a photo booth. Attendees can get professional headshots or take group photos. This feature is sponsored by <a href=”https://www.lbwire.com” target=”_blank”>Lloyd & BouvierLloyd & Bouvier</a>.

Additionally, the raffle will feature several prizes. The grand prize includes Boston Bruins vs. Toronto Maple Leafs tickets. The second prize includes Air Supply concert tickets provided by Mohegan Sun.

Finally, after strong attendance in 2022, the chapter expects more than 100 participants this year.
