New WAI workshop at Interwire 2025 goes beyond scope of ‘Fundamentals’

The Wire Association International (WAI) will introduce the Advanced Extrusion Workshop at Interwire 2025, expanding its commitment to hands-on industry education. Learn more at https://www.wirenet.org/.

Advanced Extrusion Workshop Builds on Core Training

The Advanced Extrusion Workshop will take place on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 9 a.m. to noon. The session builds directly on extrusion concepts presented by Erik Macs during the Fundamentals of Wire Manufacturing course earlier in the week.

Interactive Learning and Real-World Application

Rick Chamberlain and a co-instructor will lead the workshop. They will guide participants through advanced extrusion concepts and practical applications.

To enhance learning, attendees will join breakout sessions that encourage discussion and problem-solving. In addition, participants will visit exhibitors on the show floor to see extrusion machinery in operation, connecting theory with real-world performance.

Limited Capacity and High-Value Experience

WAI will limit attendance to 50 participants to maintain a focused and interactive environment. This smaller group size ensures a more engaging, in-depth learning experience for professionals looking to advance their extrusion expertise.
