Progress continues on the Association’s new online industry learning program

The WAI online learning platform continues to grow as the Wire Association International (WAI) strengthens its focus on professional development and industry education. Learn more at https://www.wirenet.org/.

New Courses and Platform Development

WAI staff are actively building out the platform and developing new content. The organization plans a soft launch later this year, followed by a full release in early 2025.

One of the first courses will cover Introduction to Ferrous Metallurgy, which is already nearing completion. In addition, the platform will include 12 general manufacturing safety courses, offering a well-rounded training foundation.

Flexible Learning and Certification

Each course features short, focused video modules, with most videos running under five minutes. Throughout the training, learners complete knowledge checks to reinforce key concepts.

After finishing each module, participants receive a certificate of completion, helping track progress and validate skills.

Early Access and Contact Information

Professionals interested in early access during the soft launch phase can contact John Markowski, Project Manager of Education, at education@wirenet.org or call 203-458-4044.

WAI will continue to release updates as the online learning platform evolves and expands its course offerings.
