The WAI Education Center provides on-demand access to expert-led courses covering essential industry topics. Professionals can learn at their own pace while building both foundational knowledge and advanced technical skills.
Early feedback has been highly positive. Users benefit from flexible learning options and practical content designed to meet the evolving needs of wire and cable manufacturing. In addition, WAI plans to release new courses throughout 2025, expanding the platform’s value.

Attendees at Interwire 2025 can experience the platform firsthand. WAI will showcase the Education Center at the Resource Center & Member Lounge on the show floor.
Visitors can explore course offerings, ask questions, and identify solutions for workforce development, onboarding, and employee training.
WAI Education Center Session Highlights
In addition, WAI will host a featured session titled “Empowering Industry Growth: Unlocking the Potential of WAI’s Education Center and Training Platform.” The session will take place on Thursday from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. in the WAI Theater.
John Markowski, WAI’s Manager of Education, will lead the presentation. He will explain how structured training programs can help companies onboard new employees and upskill existing teams.
The session will also highlight how the WAI Education Center supports long-term workforce development across the industry.
