The WAI Midwest Ohio Valley Chapter updates highlight new leadership, upcoming events, and expanded scholarship initiatives across both regions. These efforts continue to support engagement within the wire and cable industry.

Midwest Chapter Updates

The Midwest Chapter welcomes Cooper Runzel, Vice President of Insulating Manufacturing at <a href=”https://www.lakecable.com” target=”_blank”>Lake Cable</a>, as a new Board memberBoard member.

In addition, the chapter plans to host its 2023 golf tournament, with the official date to be announced.

The board has also approved the 2023 scholarship program, which will award three scholarships of $1,500 each. The chapter will release the online application in late January and notify members via email. Ohio Valley Chapter Updates

Meanwhile, the Ohio Valley Chapter recognizes Dave Rascati for his retirement from the Board of Directors at the end of 2022. He contributed years of leadership, particularly through organizing the chapter’s golf tournament and sharing detailed event recaps.

Looking ahead, the chapter will host its 2023 Golf Tournament on August 24 at Kennsington Golf Club in Canfield, Ohio. The event will also feature an education program to support professional development.

Furthermore, the chapter is developing a scholarship program, which it will fund through proceeds from the annual golf tournament.
