A Tradition Rooted in Industry History
The tradition began in 1948 when John Rigby and Sons, Ltd. of Manchester, England, presented WAI with a 400-day grandfather clock at its Annual Convention. This gift represented 32 U.K. companies and recognized the support provided by the U.S. wire industry during World War II.
