WAI prepares its fourth Global Continuous Casting Forum in conjunction with Interwire 2025

The Wire Association International (WAI) will host the Global Continuous Casting Forum 2025 for copper and aluminum from May 12–15, 2025. WAI will run the Global Continuous Casting Forum 2025 alongside INTERWIRE 2025 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

Global Continuous Casting Forum 2025 Brings Industry Experts Together

The Global Continuous Casting Forum 2025 will connect academics, researchers, metallurgists, and industry professionals. Attendees will share insights and explore innovations across all aspects of continuous casting for copper and aluminum.

WAI will kick off the event with a welcome reception on May 12. In addition, attendees can join a networking dinner on May 14.

Call for Abstracts Now Open

WAI is currently accepting abstract submissions through October 2, 2024. Contributors should align their presentations with one of the following tracks:

  • General
  • Copper
  • Aluminum
  • Lubrication and testing
  • Automation and safety

Suggested topics include:

  • Casting technologies
  • Electrical energy use
  • Global copper and aluminum markets
  • Cost-saving strategies
  • Filtration systems
  • Molten metal processing
  • Combustion systems and furnaces
  • Degassing and metal flow
  • Refractories and alloys
  • Sustainability in casting

Submit abstracts at https://bit.ly/WAIabstracts. WAI will notify accepted authors by November 7, 2024, and requires final manuscripts by February 13, 2025.
