The WAI international technical conferences 2023 mark a renewed focus on advancing technical knowledge across the wire and cable industry. The Wire Association International (WAI) will host two major events this year in Milan, Italy, and Monterrey, Mexico, while inviting industry experts to submit technical papers.
Wire & Cable Milan 2023
First, Wire & Cable Milan 2023 will take place on October 16, 2023, at the Palazzo Giureconsulti in Milan. WAI is partnering with <a href=”https://www.acimaf.com” target=”_blank”>ACIMAFACIMAF</a>, the Italian wire machinery association led by President Ferruccio Bellina.
WAI continues its long-standing presence in Italy, following previous events in Verona, Milan, Bologna, and Stresa. Authors must submit abstracts by February 28, although WAI may offer deadline extensions upon request. The organization will send acceptance notifications by March 31, and presenters must submit final manuscripts by July 31.
Mexico ITC 2023
Meanwhile, the WAI Mexico ITC 2023 will run from November 13–15, 2023, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Monterrey. Past events in Monterrey have drawn strong participation, including the 2016 conference with 190 attendees.
WAI has also hosted previous ITCs in 2008 and 2010 in Monterrey and 2004 in Querétaro, with strong leadership support from industry professionals.
For this event, authors must submit abstracts by April 17, followed by acceptance notifications on May 22 and a manuscript deadline of October 1.
