Banker Wire New Facility to Boost Manufacturing Efficiency
Banker Wire (https://www.bankerwire.com) will develop a 182,000-square-foot facility designed to enhance operations and support future demand. This Banker Wire new facility will replace the need for further expansion at its current plant.
Company President Dave Stout confirmed that the new site will allow the company to optimize workflow, improve layout design, and create a better working environment for employees.
Continued Growth in Wire Mesh Manufacturing
Banker Wire manufactures woven and welded wire mesh for architectural and industrial applications. The company previously expanded its Mukwonago facility to 152,000 square feet after adding 50,000 square feet in 2012.
The new plant will support increased production capacity and include a state-of-the-art wire mesh welder, which the company says will be the widest wire mesh machine in the United States.
Investment in Workforce and Innovation
Banker Wire currently employs 135 workers and plans to hire additional staff as operations expand. The new equipment and facility will strengthen the company’s position in the wire mesh manufacturing industry.
Leadership aims to build one of the most efficient manufacturing facilities in the sector while maintaining high-quality production standards.
Longstanding History in Wisconsin
Founded in 1896 as C.I. Banker Wire & Iron Works, the company has deep roots in the Milwaukee area. Banker Wire transitioned from a reseller to a full manufacturer by the mid-1970s and now serves a wide range of industries with custom wire mesh solutions.
The new facility is expected to become fully operational by March 2019, marking another milestone in the company’s continued growth.
