Ducab Secures Major Cable Contracts for ADNOC Projects in Abu Dhabi
Ducab, a leading UAE-based cable manufacturer, has secured three major contracts in Abu Dhabi. These projects require more than 5,000 kilometers of EHV, HV, MV, and LV cables, along with AAAC overhead conductors.
The announcement took place during the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC), highlighting Ducab’s growing role in the oil and gas sector.
Large-Scale Cable Supply for Energy Projects
Ducab will supply a wide range of power and control cable systems, including:
- 220 kV extra-high voltage (EHV) cables
- 132 kV high voltage (HV) cables
- Medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) cables
These cables will support several major developments. For example, Ducab will contribute to a clean fuel and waste-heat recovery project. In addition, the company will supply cables for the Bab Integrated Facility Project.
Ducab will also deliver cables and aluminum overhead conductors from its DAC factory for ADNOC’s onshore Qusahwira Field Development Phase II Project.
