According to a report from theย Pensacola News Journal, the company filed a notice with theย Florida Department of Economic Opportunityย confirming theย Hitachi Cable Pensacola Plant Closure. The company expects to complete the shutdown by the end of next March.

The closure will impact aboutย 300 employees, including both hourly and salaried staff. Specifically,ย 202 workersย at the facility will lose their jobs when operations cease.
