JDR Cable Systems Houston Expansion Drives New Headquarters Construction

JDR Cable Systems, part ofย TFKable Group, has launched a major expansion with a new 65,000-square-foot headquarters in Tomball, Texas. The 10-acre site will replace three leased facilities and strengthen its U.S. operations.

Consolidation Supports Operational Growth

JDR currently operates across three leased sites totaling 30,000 square feet in northwest Houston. The new headquarters will bring these locations together, improving efficiency and supporting long-term growth.

Facility Supports Oil and Gas Operations

The new headquarters will support the design and manufacturing of equipment for the oil and gas industry. JDR will also expand its intervention workover control systems (IWOCS) rental services to meet rising demand.

JDR Cable Systems Houston Facility Features

The new site will include:

  • 45,000 square feet of assembly and testing space with a 60-ton overhead crane

  • 20,000 square feet of two-story office space

The facility will support engineering, project management, equipment assembly, and offshore service operations.

Workforce Expansion Plans

JDR will relocate 45 employees to the new facility. The company also plans to hire five to 10 engineers and service technicians each year over the next five years to grow its local presence.
