LLFlex Opens New High Point Manufacturing Facility

LLFlex, a global supplier ofย packaging materialsย andย industrial laminate solutionsย for industries such asย wire and cable, will open a newย 73,500-square-footย manufacturing facility inย High Point, North Carolina. The company will use this fully integrated site to serve customers in the U.S. and abroad.

$7.6 Million Investment to Boost Capacity

The company will invest aboutย $7.6 millionย in the High Point project. As a result, LLFlex will significantly increase its manufacturing capacity. The new facility will support both of its main business segments:ย packaging for consumer productsย andย industrial laminates, including solutions for the wire and cable industry.

In the wire and cable segment, LLFlex will continue to provide itsย Reyshieldโ„ข cable wrap, a key protective laminate solution.

New Equipment and Technical Capabilities

To support this growth, LLFlex will install aย new laminator with multiple coating stationsย and aย dedicated slitter. In addition, the investment includes aย steel, copper, and aluminum slitterย with an annual capacity ofย 40 million pounds. Together, this equipment will help the company process a wide range of metal-based laminates more efficiently.
