Radix Wire Acquisition and Oman Fiber Network Expansion Details

The Radix Wire acquisition and Oman fiber network initiatives support both industrial growth and digital infrastructure expansion. The Oman project will deliver a large-scale fiber optic network to more than 400,000 homes and businesses. The first phase includes:

  • Installation of approximately 4,100 km of fiber optic cables
  • Deployment of about 9,500 km of drop cables

Once completed, the network will make 80% of Muscat fiber-ready, enabling access to gigabit-capable internet. This upgrade will strengthen Oman’s information and communication technology sector and attract manufacturing and logistics investments.

LS Cable Leads Engineering and Design

LS Cable & System will lead the network design, engineering, and supply of fiber optic cables for the project. The company brings regional experience from major Middle East infrastructure projects.

LSCS collaborates with organizations such as KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) and the Korea Information & Communication Contractors Association, strengthening its global delivery capabilities.
