Oman Cables Nama Group Agreement Strengthens Local Supply

Long-Term Cable Supply Contract Details

Under the agreement, Oman Cables will supply 11–33 kV electrical cables to several utility providers. The contract will run for three years. In addition, both parties can extend it for another two years.

The deal also forms part of a larger group of agreements signed during the 2018 Energy and Water Conference. Together, these contracts hold a total value of about $106 million.

Supporting Oman’s Power Infrastructure

Importantly, the agreement allows nine Nama Group companies to purchase cables based on their needs. This flexible approach improves efficiency. It also ensures a steady supply for current and future projects.

At the same time, Oman Cables continues to support the growth of electrical utilities and national energy infrastructure.
