Production Capabilities and Technology Focus

The new facility produces key components for:

  • Electric vehicle (EV) batteries
  • Optical fiber communication cables

These capabilities allow LS Cable & System to meet growing demand in both the automotive and telecommunications sectors.

Strategic Advantages of Poland Location

LS Cable selected Poland due to its strong infrastructuregovernment incentives, and skilled workforce. In addition, the country’s central location enables efficient distribution across European markets.

The Polish government continues to support foreign investment, making the region attractive for manufacturing expansion.

Expansion of EV and Optical Cable Operations

LS Cable & System established its EV battery components subsidiary, LSEVP, in Poland in 2017. The facility can produce components for up to 300,000 electric vehicles annually and plans to supply major automakers, including LG Chem (https://www.lgchem.com).

The company also launched LSCP, its optical cable subsidiary, in 2018. This facility produces up to three million fiber kilometers per year, accounting for about 7% of the European market. It currently supplies major telecom providers across countries such as Italy and France.

Strengthening Global Manufacturing Network

With the addition of the Polish facility, LS Cable & System now operates 19 global business sites, including locations in Korea, Vietnam, China, the U.S., and Europe. This expansion supports the company’s goal to deliver integrated cable solutions worldwide.
