New Numesh plant in Ontario, Canada, to produce welded steel wire/wire mesh

Numesh held a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 14 to celebrate its new plant in Cainsville, County of Brant, Ontario. The event marked a major step in the companyโ€™s expansion across Canada.

Numeshย invested $40 million to upgrade the existing facility with advanced equipment and modern technology. The new plant allows the company to meet rising demand and better serve customers across Ontario, Western Canada, and the North Central U.S.

More than 50 employees currently work on-site, with plans for future job growth.

Founded in 1975 in Laval, Quebec, Numesh is Canadaโ€™s largest maker of welded steel wire and wire mesh for concrete reinforcement. The new location strengthens its leadership in the construction material industry and supports ongoing innovation.

Numesh President Mathieu Seguin thanked everyone who helped make the project possible. โ€œThis new facility shows our innovation and commitment to Canadaโ€™s construction industry,โ€ Seguin said. โ€œIt represents years of planning, hard work, and dedication.โ€

Cainsville Mayor David Baileyย welcomed the companyโ€™s investment in the community. โ€œThank you to Numesh for choosing the County of Brant,โ€ Bailey said. โ€œTheir investment brings skilled jobs and supports local economic growth.โ€

Numeshโ€™s expansion highlights its long-term vision to build, innovate, and grow together with the communities it serves.
