Theย Prysmian submarine cable expansion Finlandย project increases output atย Prysmian Groupโs submarine cable site in Kirkkonummi. The upgrade strengthens its Pikkala center of excellence and supports growing offshore wind and interconnector demand.
Finnish construction and development companyย YITย will enlargeย four hall buildingsย and add aย 26,000 sq mย material warehouse. The partners value the project at aboutย โฌ35 millionย and expect to finish it byย June 2026.
Prysmian choseย YITย again after their work on the siteโsย cable tower projectย last summer. The tower reached a ridge height ofย 185 metersย at the end of last year. The teams plan to complete it in theย summer of 2025.
